The beauty editors love this British nail polish brand
You’ve got the product, now get inspired with our simple, step-by-step nail art idea.
You may have discovered beauty brand True Brit London in your subscription box recently. This small British business was created by a nail industry pro using a formula that includes Vitamin E and Natural Flower oils to nourish your nails.
Together, we created two exclusive nail polish colours just for you: ‘Pink Parcel’, a delicate pink that was in your April box, and ‘It’s a Monthly Thing’, a sophisticated grey you’ll find in your May box (look out for it in the post from 10th May). They’re the perfect pick-me-up when you’re feeling gross and will be available from our Pink Parcel shop soon.
We headed out on a mani-mission with our friends MILK Beauty last month, to put them to the test – on the beauty experts at Marie Claire, Look and Woman magazine. Check out the results the editors shared below.
We’ve also created an easy nail art idea for you below. Follow our step by step guide and nail the look yourself.
Super simple nail art – in only five steps!
Step 1. File and shape your nails. Try to avoid metal nail files as they’ll damage your nails. Lightly buff both the top and sides of your nails to get an even surface.
Step 2. Add a base coat. This is essential to stop nails from staining and easily chipping.
Step 3. Apply two layers of grey polish to all of your nails except your ring finger. Paint this pink to create an accent nail. Allow each layer to dry between coats.
Step 4. Using a thin brush, carefully paint a contrasting horizontal line across your nails, about a third of the way down. On the accent nail, transform the line into a bow by painting two ovals in the middle of the line (angled at 45 degrees) and two small semi-circles underneath. Leave to dry.
Step 5. Apply a top coat to protect your nails from chipping. Reapply every day to make your mani last.
Step 6. Loving the results? Share them with us and Milk Beauty on social media. We’re @pinkparcel on Instagram, @thepinkparcel on Twitter and Pink Parcel on Facebook. Follow @milkbeautymaid on Twitter and Instagram.
