Pink Parcel People: Elisha, Partner Relations Assistant
Each week we’ll be bringing you an insight into the people behind Pink Parcel. This week, we speak to one of our Partner Relations Assistants, Elisha.
What do you do at Pink?
All the lovely things you receive in your Pink Parcels each month! I work hard to piece each parcel together as it’s actually like putting a puzzle together. Luckily, I work with a wonderful team so we all work together contacting brands and building a great relationship with partners that we do work with.
What’s the best bit of your job?
The best part of my job would definitely have to be every girl’s dream: watching all the samples come into the office, trialling them and seeing what our subscribers are going to love most.
What’s the trickiest thing?
In the office we are always being faced with challenges that take us by surprise. But we’re like a GB team: we work together and find a way to overcome tricky situations.
Tell us about an achievement that stands out during your time at the company…
Mine would have to be growing within the company. I actually started off in Customer Service and found myself blossoming into Partner Relations.
What’s the favourite product you’ve discovered through your monthly box?
My all time favourite product would be Badger Sleep Balm. This product is the perfect solution if you’re having trouble sleeping at night.
On Fridays at PP HQ we have team pizzas. What’s your favourite topping?
Mozzarella is just PERFECT!
How did you get your job?
Before working for Pink Parcel I was in the beauty industry for a couple of years, I was travelling in and out of London each week and finally decided I wanted to work closer to home. Within two weeks I had left my job, went to my local recruitment agency and had fallen into the arms of Pink Parcel. Best decision I’ve ever made.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to follow your career path?
Inspiration is key: be the person that you want to be. Reach for those goals; whether they’re as small as quitting chocolate for a month (good luck) or being the next prime minister. You live the life you want to live, so look for something positive in each day, even if you have to look a little harder.
