How I Make It Work: Danielle from Saturated Colour Cosmetics

Our small business series shines a spotlight on the many exciting and entrepreneurial partners we champion at Pink Parcel – all in the name of making your box better every month, of course. This week, we spoke to Danielle Fenwick, Creator and Managing Director of Saturated Colour Cosmetics.

This animal friendly brand is all about clever colour, as past subscribers will know. Products from the company have been carefully created to suit all skin tones – meaning there’s something for everyone. Expect plenty of pop – SCC girls choose the brand for its highly pigmented splashes of colour which they dare to wear.

Our make-up  is 100% cruelty free. We also have a range of vegan lines.  We’re a professional brand with an attractive price-tag.

Saturated Colour grew from two other businesses. We run another website called Boxed Beauty and distributed a large American cosmetics brand within the UK for six years. Saturated was something we could really get our teeth into.

I’m responsible for turning my whacky ideas into a commercially viable product that sells.

We approached Pink Parcel with one of our lipsticks. Subscribers loved them, they went down really well, and we are looking forward to working with them again soon.

It was great to have a natter and meet some new brands at the Pink Parcel partner event.

If you want to start your own business you need to expect setbacks but be prepared to power through them. Work hard, believe in yourself and stay confident.
