Each time you buy a Pink Parcel, you help someone else have a better period.
In Kenya, a shocking 65% of women and girls cannot afford pads. This means that over 850,000 girls miss 6 weeks of school every year and women miss valuable work hours. The problem is worse across East Africa with 4 in 5 unable to afford pads.
That’s why we’ve chosen to support ZanaAfrica, a fabulous charity who make affordable sanitary pads, allowing women and girls to thrive in their education, at work or as mothers.
They also provide supportive mentorship in schools, providing girls with critical support during turbulent years, timely health education and, financial savings.
ZanaAfrica makes pads and use profits to fund charitable profits, such as health education and policy advocacy. In this way, they not only model financial freedom while helping women find the same, but ensure responsible stewardship of resources by reducing reliance on donations.
